The holidays are here and tomorrow is Thanksgiving in America. My wife and I decided to host the family dinner this year since it is our first holiday season in our own house. As you can imagine, things have been a bit hectic around here. So, rather than taking a lot of time to write a post, I thought I’d ask a fairly simple question. What are the things you’re thankful for? As always, chime in via the comments below, and Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!

3I’m thankful that Thanksgiving is at your house instead of mine and that Juliet’s cooking!
I’m also very grateful for having such great adult children (and their spouse and significant other). Love you guys!

4My fiancee and I did the first thanksgiving with family cooking at our house last year - http://www.butterball.com has videos on how to prep and carve that can be helpful if you’ve never wielded the electric knife when dinner was on the line. Enjoy!
I’m thankful that my fiancee quitting her job to “figure out what she wanted her true career path to be” at the end of the summer was a fruitful exercise that only took a couple of months to get organized.
I’m thankful that my design & development and general technical knowledge are going to be able to help her grow that business.
And I’m very thankful that all of these things have polarized my own thinking on what I want to become, and what kind of projects and activities I should focus my time on in order to achieve that reality.

7A wife smarter than myself - keeps me in check. I’m thankful to those that made the Internet possible. The free exchange of information that made it an open platform not controlled by the likes of Microsoft or IBM. Everyone remember this the next time you’re thinking of slamming Linux ‘cuz the PC Rules and has more games.
