I’d like to welcome any Zen Habits readers that have found their way over from my guest post entitled 5 Inspiration Hacks for Creative People.
If this is your first time visiting Blogging Experiment I’d like to introduce you to the site. As the header reads, this blog chronicles my quest to take a brand new blog from earning absolutely nothing, to a full time income in just one year. The experiment has going for about 7 months now and I’m 2/5ths of the way to my goal, bringing in over $2,000 from this blog last month. The blog’s other “main attraction” so to speak would have to by my Lessons on Blogging series in which I relate blogging to popular TV shows such as House, The Simpsons, and most recently 24.
I’d love for you to take a look around and if you enjoy the content consider subscribing to my RSS feed and tracking my progress on this Blogging Experiment.

1Something I have always wondered about Ben, is what happens to your blog at the end of the year’s experiment?

3@ Caroline, Right now I’m not really sure what happens at the end of the year and it may depend on whether or not I reach my goal. I’ve really enjoyed writing here so I’ll probably continue (with a change of the description line obviously) but nothing is set in stone yet.
@ Catherine, thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed the post!

4Hi Ben, I enjoyed your article on ZenHabits. I’m not a blogger (yet!) but I am a writer and one effective antidote I’d like to suggest to that mental block is hiking, or at least a good long walk. I don’t know how it works; it just seems that giving that wordsmith part of your brain a rest and doing something physical — which also has a visual aspect (take a good look at those trees or whatever you’re seeing out there!) — is beneficial.
I wish you the best of luck with your blog.

5Nice article and nice blog. I’ll enjoy watching your progress.
Nancy d - good point about the walk and getting a bit of nature to un-stick yourself.
