I just tend to write content that I myself would want to read or enjoy writing and I think over time the more passionate I get into my writing, the better my blog will become. So in essence I will just keep on keepin’ on =)

Great topic. Everyone wants to know but few want to learn. You did however hit most of the main points. Patience and actual work are two keys to this.

Many factors make your site suck, which are as follows:
1- Duplicate content
2- Not user friendly
3- Not appealing design
4- Too many ads
5- Errors in coding
6- Not well optimized
7- Too few links

I was frustrated at first at google not giving me enough traffic “love” but after a couple months I see it steadily increasing as more and more people come to my website. So all in all I can attest to what you have to say, great article.
