Mid-Week Roundup

I’ve got several news and notes to pass along but none of them seemed particularly post worthy on their own. So, I decided to pull them all together in a lightning round of sorts that I’ve dubbed (at least for now) the mid-week roundup. Here we go:

• Only three entries so far in the affiliate contest. That makes for some good odds of winning the prize package for those who have entered.
• I’m looking for a few guest posters for the first week of March. If you’re interested, drop me a line via the contact form. Speaking of which…
• Since adding the contact form I’ve been receive a LOT more emails. Please don’t stop sending them but please don’t be offended if it takes me a while to get back to you. I’ve never been a big “email” guy so I’m having to learn the ropes of managing the load.
• Expect a few periods of less than optimal site performance this weekend. We’re going to be working on adding a few new features and we probably won’t get it right the first time around. Please be patient, I think it’s going to vastly improve the site.
• Several people have asked what I plan on doing once the year long experiment is over. To be honest, I think it depends a lot on how the remaining months go. I’m working on a few different ideas and will probably keep the options open as long as possible.
• Last but not least, I’m going to be announcing a new advertising option tomorrow as well as offering a free week of advertising so be sure to check it out!
