Wow… so it’s been a really busy week and looks to be an even busier weekend. I’m up for a promotion at work, have a big report due Monday, and oh yeah, I’m in another wedding tomorrow. So, if I’m not as responsive to comments etc. this weekend, you’ll have to forgive me.

That being said, let’s get down to business. This week’s phrase auction brings us back around to the phrase “income.” The rules are probably old hat by now but just in case, the bidding will start at $5.00 and increase in $5.00 increments. Only bids left in the comments below will be counted. Last week’s auction winner mentioned that I might want to end them earlier so our friends across the pond would be able to stay up until the end. So, rather than 11:59, this week’s auction will end at 5 p.m. central time (which I think is -6 GMT).

Also, remember that every person that bids gets one entry into the drawing at the end of the month. I’m still pulling together the full list of prizes but I’m pleased to tell you it includes a free cartoon from ToonRefugee.com. Oh, and once again, the winning bidder will get an extra 3 entries for the drawing.

So, do I hear $5?
