So many of you seemed to respond to the announcement that AuctionAds was giving away $25 just for signing up that I figured I’d compile a list of programs and services that give you free stuff or free money for signing up. I’ll update this list as I come across more offers and if you know of any I missed, please drop me a line to let me know!
Free Stuff:
Text Link Ads - $100 in free links when you spend $25
Yahoo Search Marketing - $100 in free clicks for starting a PPC account
Bidvertiser - $20 in free clicks for signing up
Bluehost - $50 in free Yahoo credits for signing up
Free Cash:
AuctionAds - $25 for signing up
SEO Book - $20 for signing up as an affiliate
PayPerPost - $20 for signing up as a blogger
A couple of these programs or offers do have minimum payouts that you must reach before you can collect on your free cash or clicks (SEO Book for example has a minimum payout of $49.99) but I figured I’d still include them in the list . These were the only ones I could come up with off the top of my head. As I mentioned, please let me know any others I may have missed. If you tip me off to an offer that makes the list, I’ll give you a link in return.
As always on Fridays, I’d like to remind everyone to send in any questions you’d like me to address in Monday’s Reader Question Session. Also, for those of you interested in social media and how you can leverage it for your site’s success, we’re going to have a great interview for you to read next week.

3@ Chris, those I think will go in my Recommended Reading page but I probably need to update that as well.
@knupNET, no problem, that’s what I’m here for.

8Ben,
Found out about your experiment through Chris G’s forums. Had to stop by and take a look. Hope all is panning out for you as you had planned. This is deffinatly a very interesting test you have and if it pans out to work you could gain some quality exposure from it I would believe. Keep up the interesting blogging.

9@ Bunk, welcome to the site! Nothing ever goes 100% as planned but I’m having a great time with this experiment and I hope it’s at least been a good source of information every now and again.

10Just added PayPerPost to the list. Anyone know of others that I’ve missed?

11How about ReviewMe? It is similar to PayPerPost and you get paid to write reviews. Another is Prizebook, though that is only available in the US.

12@ Aaron, I’m not just listing services. To make the list they have to give you something free for signing up. Hence the name for the post. I’m pretty sure ReviewMe doesn’t but I’ll double check.

16Or maybe they are not… I guess you can’t post Urls… because my other comment had a Url (it just goes to a blank page).
Anyway, I wanted to say this:
There’s Widgetbucks which gives you $25 for signing up (which you can withdraw as soon as you make another $25).
You can use my referred URL to sign up below, if you like.

17The payperpost freebie is sorta a freebie, but you need to write a post on how you joined payperpost, which isn’t hard of course, but if you’re going for subtlety about being a paid poster then you won’t get the $20.

19I was going to say, it’s very rare in this day and age that websites give money away for nothing - especially when you only provide them with your personal details. This can be seen as two things:
1) No matter how much they say “we won’t pass your details on to any third party” don’t believe it - I bet they’re creating a catalogue of personal data to pass on to the highest bidder! and…..
2) You, in some way or another, will have to pay out some financial contribution first, either an up-front payment or you have to reach a specific numerical amount before any transaction between you both can take place.
**Note to readers:
Air on the side of caution when submitting to sites that offer a cash value in return for your soul….I mean items/articles etc.
I must admit though, a lot of ‘make money now’ schemes are very inviting, the thought of me sat at home watching my bank balance increase is something to think about - given the right opportunity arises!
Some sites are genuine, you just have to find them.
A good post, I thought I’d just have a little rant before complimenting you on the information that you provided - thank you mate.
