Posted by Ben Cook as Daily Blog Score
Wow… what a day. I know it’s Friday and all but man, it sure felt a lot like a Monday today. First, there was the two hour long power outage in the middle of my work day. Then, because that’s apparently not enough, I accidentally reveal information that’s supposed to be anonymous and confidential, to a group of 5 other people via email. Exciting lemme tell ya. Fortunately, I think I was able to turn the negative into a positive event and perhaps a bit of motivation as well so we’ll see.
Anyway, TGIF is about all I have to say. Here’s my blog score for the day. As you can see, I once again missed my daily goal and this time I have the new office setup excuse to help balance it out. I need to really get on my game come Monday.

The plugin I installed was Popularity Contest by Alex King but I’ve not been able to figure out how to format the info the way I want it. I’d rather have a dynamic page that links to the most popular posts rather than having a string of them taking up space in the sidebar. I’ll tinker with things and see what I can’t come up with but for now it’s staying inactive.
Have a great weekend everyone!

1It’s neat seeing other bloggers using a points system. I had no idea the comment would have taken such an effect.
You have a new reader.

2One suggestion, Ben, give yourself more credit for what you are getting done. It looks like a lot to me. Everything is perfect as it should be. I am learning more and more from your Blogging Experiment. That counts for a lot. Have a glorious weekend. Monday will take care of itself.

3Jason,
The point system was a brilliant idea! Thanks for checking out the site and thanks even more for helping keep me on track and being productive.

4Just signed up as a reader. Great post for a newbie blogger to read. I am just coming to realise that some structure and planning is required to make this work! Oh well gotta start somewhere.
Keep up the good work.
