August 6: As you can see the new design is live, but there are several “tweaks” we’ll be working on over the next couple of days to fine tune many of the new details of this design. Be on the lookout soon for some exciting news about Blogging Experiment, and in the mean time, please pardon our dust.
I’d like to give you a preview to the next generation of Blogging Experiment. I’m working on a complete design and content overhaul (with some exciting things planned for this site), and I wanted to give you a sneak peak by showing the new logo.
The only thing staying the same – and getting better – will be the content we provide. Aside from that, I’m changing everything. From video to more unique content to a potential blogging forum (to discuss more advanced techniques and strategies to blogging, SEO, Pay Per Click, and more). Basically, I want this site to live up to it’s name – a place where we can talk about the experiments we all undertake to make our blogs and websites better looking, more functional and ultimately more profitable.
Blogging Experiment 3.0 will be one of those sites you look forward to revisiting because of the no-nonsense…bottom line…help you make money online material. That’s my goal, and that’s what I’m going to do!

I think a forum would be a great idea! Maybe it’s just me but I’m a big fan of seeing how everyone else has tried to profit from their sites.
I don’t really advertise on any blogs that I own (The true content from the sites come from other parts that aren’t the blog section), but I do enjoy reading your site (esp. the profit reports) seeing the potential.
V3.0 looks too cool and logo is also good; thats true that the only staying thing will be the content.

Nice. I like that yellow and dark gray combo. You don’t see it too much. Is June 23rd still looking like it will be the time when the new design is launched?
I am looking forward to Blogging Experiment 3.0, I like some of the things you will talk about from here on forward. As far as adding a forum, that will be a tough one, from my personal experience, the only hard part is starting it, once you get the momentum rolling for the forum, it’s alot easier to keep it going.
@Rocket Spanish – It looks like I might be a week to 10 days past my original deadline. The designers are set to begin on June 22 (and I doubt they’ll have it done in 24 hours…even though they’re good)!
@Gas Card – I wasn’t planning on adding a forum as of now. I like the dialogue comments allow, so for now that will be the main way to chat.
The logo is really cool. I like the speech bubble with the subtle yin-yang imagery in it. I’ll be back for more, that’s for sure!
Nice logo. The black and orange suggests a dark background for the new version 3.0 redesign. Am I correct?
Awaiting the launch. This looks exciting. Will the make money part address issues as how to make money online with affiliate networks such as clickbank? I would love to have like minded people discussing on what really works in affiliate marketing.

Hi Kyle! I personally like the dark look, some people have issues with legibility though, as they don’t like reading light text on a dark background.
Kyle on that note… it would be really great if the new theme had support for threaded comments, would make it much easier engage in conversations with specific comments =D and make it easier to follow for sure

Hey, in the next version of the site, will you be doing much on SEO? I noticed you haven’t published an awful lot in the past. I’d be open to doing a guest article, actually, if you’d be open for it. I rank top 10 for keywords from “online savings account” to “financial planning” to even “make money online.”

I’m not sure about the main site. At first I thought that this is some mistake, or site is just dead. But there is a lot of empty space just in front of any guest visiting your site… I don’t know if this is there intentionally or by mistake but I would fill the empty place with anything – even a picture, but I think an article would be the best choice. I know that you are making changes all across your website so this could be just a stage in race for excellent website.

It’s actually going to be a featured / video section and I’m still working on what will go there. I should probably put a “This space intentionally left blank … for now” message up there.
