Posted by Ben Cook as Friday Phrase Auctions, Site News
Hold on to your hats everybody cause I’ve got several items of news and a phrase auction to start and rather than spreading it all out, I’m gonna try to jam it all in to one post!
We’re going to switch things up quite a bit for this week’s phrase auction. Rather than lasting until Sunday, this week’s auction is going to run for a full week! The bidding will start immediately and end next Friday at 12 noon (central). Bidding will start out at the $5 price we’ve all become accustomed to and will go up in $5 increments. Once again, just to clarify, the winning bidder will be able to link every instance of the phrase “make money online” to a site of their choice (excluding adult content etc) for one month. Also, every person that submits a valid bid (duplicate bids etc don’t count) will receive an entry into the drawing (which will take place next Friday) for the prize package I’ll reveal in a moment. The winning bidder, will receive 3 extra entries. I think that just about covers it, leaving me with only the prize package to announce.
Note: Anyone that already has an entry is still eligible to participate and increase their chances that much more.
The prize package for one lucky person next Friday will consist of the following:
Now, that last item may come as a bit of a surprise but what better way to announce the fact that starting next Friday, the BloggingExperiment theme will also be available for sale? I’ve had several people email and ask me where they can find a theme like the one I use here. I’m happy to refer them over to studiojmc.com but the truth is, good web designers don’t come cheap. With that in mind, I’ve convinced my old man to join forces with me and offer the custom theme for sale. I’ll tell you all about it next week but in case you didn’t pick up on it, I’m pretty freaking stoked about it.
So, there you have it. If you manage to win the phrase auction not only do you get to link the phrase “make money online” to the site of your choice, you’ll also get a total of 4 entries into the drawing for that impressive prize package you just read about. All that having been said…
Do I hear $5.00?

5Of course, once you mention that your subscriptions are over 500, feedburner drops them back to 476! I’ve noticed feedburner’s reporting is all over the place lately anybody else finding them less than reliable in that area?

6Pops, the number Feedburner reports is simply the number of people that have accessed your feed in the last 24 hours, not the number of total subscribers. The number always drops over the weekends and will jump back up during the week. Might be a good topic for a post though.
