Even those who weren't Stargate fans (a surprising many :-( ) enjoyed the lessons the show taught me. It's amazing what we learn from the tube. And 'they' say we're draining our brain cells. ;-)I think Determination is the most important of these lessons. With the bad guys out to get him, various injuries, time always running out, it is vital for Jack to never give up. In the blogging world we mightn't be facing near death and mass homocide but it is still important to keep at it, fight against the odds, no matter what.I think Ego is another lesson here. You really do have to believe your the best and the only one who can get the job done. If Jack thought he could take a day off and leave this one to some other guy the show would have been over long ago. There are certain things you can delegate but when it comes to ensuring your blogs success you have to believe you're the only one who can and then work hard to get the job done.

*chuckles* I did a whole series on Writing Lessons from Stargate SG1. I love both 24 and Prison Break. One thing in common I could relate in both shows are the characters are very smart, cold-headed and could always come up with backup plan. Personally I have never been in such 'crazy-pressure' position, but I suppose your article would give some abstract on what should be done in roughly any business =)

Nicely put.
